I needed a HIPAA compliant platform for my medical practice. I now have my own platform and an electronic office associated with it. I have all my files, calendar, email, patient contact list on the same system as the telehealth system. It is compact, easy to access. We are learning to interact with it. All records are saved on the icloud in a HIPAA compliant way. At this time, I can sit down at a computer (or phone) and see my patients and do their paperwork anywhere I am. My patients comment on the quality of the picture and the audio for the telehealth, better than the other systems they are experienced with, both medical and other. The screen is like a TV not like a pixelated slow picture. It is clear and sharp. The audio is as good as a phone quality.
I am not good with new computer software .Voipster has been very helpful, even when the problems were not of their own making. I have had problems with the phone system that provides my internet and Voipster has been very good at getting that straightened out.
I would recommend the system I have to other health professionals. I am a small individual provider and do not have support people to do the IT work, office work or other support services. Neither do I have the finances to buy/rent a large complicated system for an electronic office. This system has helped me and my part time assistant be more efficient and faster. Having access from anywhere helps me care for my patients more effectively when I am not in the office. Larger entities would benefit even more from the integrated system Voipster has put together.
